Should We Let People Commit Suicide?

Image
billboard.com Chester Bennington had left the world with a great impact. Now the whole world is talking about suicide and depression. Now that we are thinking about it, I have a question to ask. Should we let people commit suicide? I mean, why not? When a fully grown adult, decide to end his own life, why shouldn't we let it? Of course, there will be consequences, but surely he has thought thoroughly about it. He must has prepared his family and surroundings for the upcoming scenarios. Furthermore, it is his life. He knows what's best for him, like every other grown adults knows what's best for them and their lives. And he made decisions based on what is the best for him. So why can't we respect that? Why we can't just accept it? Who are we to judge what he is doing? More importantly, why we don't facilitate it and support it, like every other actions that he had did before? You would probably answer like this: "Because it is just wro

He Knows

We need to know and obey God, since He created us. So, in order to obey to God, we must fulfill His commands and avoid his prohibition. You know, when you come to a place, there's gotta be 'do's and 'don't's right? So which one is easier? Obviously it depends on people. But we all can relate to that, doing something that is being told is easier than NOT doing something that is prohibited. This is because of, at least, 2 reasons; 1. You like it. You simply just like it. Like, genuinely like it. It just comes from your heart. 2. It is forbidden. "The more things are forbidden, the more popular they become." - Mark Twain Forbidden things do have their own charms, making themselves desirable. This is why we all can relate to that. As we live this life, we will always, constantly, being tempted to leave our obligations and commit prohibitions. The temptations may vary. But  we all have been there, coming to a poin

Why 'Shape of You' is So Popular?

Maybe it is quite late, but it is still worth to think about it. I am quite confused, that no one seems to criticize this song. The lyrics are in simple English, with obvious hints about sleeping with girls. (I don't know if  'obvious hint' is a legit word since it contradicts with each other, but it is probably the best way to put it) Almost everyone (a.k.a every teens and adults) understands what this song means and refers to to. But why it is still playing in the radios, while people singing around freely, even in front of kids? It may be understandable if it is Despacito, where maybe the whole world knows the song but very few know what it means (hint: it's the same issue we are talking here). But, like I said, the lyrics are in totally simple English. I also believe people who enjoy this song can understand English, like you now, reading this post in simple English. We all know there are a lot of people who are against sexualization in every form. But w

"Am I Beautiful?"

Image
Back in the old days, when we think about a beautiful girl, we will think about a girl with a fair skin, a blond hair and a slim body. Thankfully, now there are countless efforts of celebrating every women and acknowledging that all women are beautiful. Now, a dark-skinned, plus-sized-body girl with curly hair is also being called beautiful. That's great. One thing though. In this modern day, how do women actually show they are beautiful? By stripping almost all of their clothes and pose in front of the camera. Unfortunately that is what happening around the world now. You gotta show that you are beautiful, so you will get validation. Back then, the same dark-skinned, plus-sized-body girl with curly hair wouldn't do this because they were convinced that they are not beautiful. So, why bother? Only girls with fair skin, blond hair and slim bodies would do this. And of course they would be called beautiful. Today the definition of beauty has broaden. But the way
