VCreator Startup Pitch Competition - UMS Finals

Just when I thought I was done with it, a new notification pop into my phone... there's a VCreator competition just for the UMS students contestants!


I had mixed feelings; somewhat touched & honored, happy, and a bit worried about what else to say, as I thought I've talked about everything that I already can.
Oh, and of course, slightly curious; why suddenly there is a competition made only for UMS students?

Apparently, it was quite a strategic collaboration, with the one major goal that UMS & VCreator have always in mind; to encourage students to become entrepreneurs. That particular special and enclosed competition was a gateway for them to sign LOI, ensuring students can start their own business with the support of grant from UMS itself.


I'm grateful that on this particular small competition of about 10 contestants, I managed to get myself into the top 6. Definitely a small yet sweet victory. And alas, this extensive competition helped me research everything I could and everything I need to start a business. It helped to gear my mind up, and more importantly, to ask deep inside my heart; do you really want to be an entrepreneur?

Even more than that, it's asking; do you have what it takes to become an entrepreneur?


I'll end it here, and I'll end like just like how I ended my previous posts about this particular competition; I look forward to my future endeavors and I wish all participants all the best for their future endeavors as well 🙂

Dah berminggu-minggu & aku masih seram sejuk mengenangkan filem ni… Jujur aku cakap, aku lagi suka tengok BoBoiBoy daripada Ejen Ali. Secara umumnya, ada 3 sebab; kualiti produksi, humor & jalan cerita. Pasal kualiti produksi, dua-dua siri animasi ini sama padunya, buat aku kagum. Daripada segi humor pula, aku lebih suka BoBoiBoy kerana lebih banyak & lebih santai. Tapi padanlah, kerana jalan cerita Ejen Ali lebih serius, berbanding BoBoiBoy. Jalan ceritalah sebab utama kenapa aku lebih suka BoBoiBoy. BoBoiBoy menjanjikan plot twist pada setiap episod, yang sungguh aku tidak sangka & sangat aku suka. Menonton Ejen Ali pula, selain daripada jalan cerita yang agak serius, aku lebih banyak temui tanda soal demi tanda soal. IRIS nak kawal Ali? Apa motifnya? Kenapa sejenis AI nak mengawal Ali untuk memusnahkan apa-apa sahaja yang ada di hadapannya? Kenapa Override Uno boleh dikawal oleh Uno sendiri? Bukan mula-mula masa Override Ali keluar, Ali masih boleh kawa

Dah berminggu-minggu & demam BoBoiBoy masih melanda… Aku memang dah lama tengok BoBoiBoy, memang sejak 2011 lagi pun. Tanpa ragu aku boleh katakan, memang ini kartun kegemaran aku. Dan aku akui, kita semua suka & terhibur dengan benda yang berbeza-beza. Aku mungkin ada pendapat aku sendiri terhadap apa yang kau suka, tapi aku hormat dengan apa-apa hiburan kegemaran kau yang kau suka. Tapi, satu benda yang aku selalu dengar pasal orang yang minat kartun ni, selalu dibandingkan dengan budak-budak. Biarlah aku beritahu hakikat sebenar; banyak je kartun yang kau terlepas pandang yang memberi pengajaran yang sangat, sangat, sangat bermakna. Mungkin kau jenis yang kena tengok aksi kasar, berdarah sana sini, berlawan sana sini, baru kau nak serap masuk pengajaran cerita tu. Suka hati kau la. Take a look at this Instagram post that I've found: As you all know, I'm all about exposing honest truth about higher education, rather than promoting 'best-case scenario' to attract people to it, as I believe informed decision is a way to empower our youths. So let's dissect this together! ✊🏼 Firstly, yes, there is not much job opportunity in the psychology field if you got the bachelor's degree. Only after getting a Master's degree, you would be qualified to be a psychologist. (Yes, there is more job opportunity outside of psychology field. I'm just focusing into the field itself). And I was shocked, when I found out about this, ONLY after enrolling into the field. And take note, I already researched about psychology for years before even enrolling. With that being said, I love psychology with all of my heart, and I view this as a misunderstanding rather than a scheme.
